High Acid Value Oxidized HDPE Wax Powder is fine‑powder oxidized high‑density polyethylene wax with high acid value, developed as direct drop‑in replacement for A‑C 316A. Abundant polar carboxyl groups endow this wax with excellent self‑emulsifying capacity. It can assist emulsification in aqueous systems without extra emulsifiers. In waterborne ink, it improves rub‑resistance and slip performance of printed films. For textile finishing, it delivers soft‑slip hand‑feel and anti‑abrasion property
High Acid Value Oxidized HDPE Wax Powder (CAS 68441‑17‑8, A‑C 316A Equivalent) is specially oxidized high‑density polyethylene processed into fine free‑flowing powder. The high content of carboxylic acid groups on molecular chains provides outstanding self‑emulsifying characteristics. Under proper stirring in aqueous medium, the wax can form fine wax dispersion without large amounts of external emulsifiers. When applied to waterborne printing ink, wax particles migrate to the printed surface to enhance slip and rub‑resistance, mitigating scuffing defects. Within textile finishing formulations, it acts as surface modifier to endow fabrics with smooth hand‑feeling and wear‑resistant performance. This product is a cost‑effective imported substitute for A‑C 316A for water‑based ink manufacturers and textile chemical producers.
For waterborne ink and varnish, typical dosage ranges from 0.3‑2.2 % of total formulation weight. For textile finishing slurry, recommended addition is 1.5‑5.0 %. Disperse the wax powder under high‑speed stirring in aqueous phase. Pre‑formulation trials are strongly recommended to verify emulsion stability, surface slip and final finished performance before mass‑scale production.
Store sealed sacks in dry and well‑ventilated warehouse. Keep away from direct sunlight and high‑temperature heat sources. Avoid moisture absorption and powder agglomeration. Reseal sacks immediately after partial discharging.
This high acid value oxidized HDPE wax powder is intended exclusively for industrial water‑based ink and textile chemical manufacturing, not for food or cosmetic applications. Avoid inhalation of fine dust particles. Wear dust‑proof mask, safety goggles and protective gloves during material handling.
