Hydroxy PDMS is hydroxyl‑terminated polydimethylsiloxane, CAS 70131‑67‑8. This RTV‑2 base polymer is specially optimized for concrete and plaster casting molds. After compounding with reinforcing silica fillers, silane cross‑linker and organotin catalyst, it cures into tough flexible silicone rubber. The finished mold owns outstanding tear resistance, low linear shrinkage and good anti‑abrasion property, widely applied for decorative
Hydroxy PDMS is hydroxyl‑terminated polydimethylsiloxane base polymer, CAS 70131‑67‑8. This condensation‑cure PDMS is developed for heavy‑duty concrete and plaster mold‑making. Viscosity and hydroxyl value are strictly controlled for every batch. When combined with reinforcing fillers and curing system, it forms high‑strength elastic silicone rubber which resists abrasion from cement‑based materials. Stable raw‑material quality supports mass production of architectural decorative casting molds.
Complete feeding, kneading and mixing operations under strictly moisture‑free environment. Incorporate reinforcing silica fillers, silane cross‑linking agent and organotin catalyst according to mold formulation. Adjust filler loading to achieve target hardness and tear strength. Avoid moisture contamination throughout full production process, moisture will lead to incomplete curing and surface tacky defects.
Packed in sealed 200kg iron drum. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Keep drum tightly sealed. Protect from humidity, high temperature and direct sunlight. Reseal drum immediately after partial material discharge. Proper storage preserves polymer reactivity and ensures valid shelf‑life.
