30% Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Emulsion (CAS 63148-57-2) is waterborne emulsion formulated with polymethylhydrosiloxane and stable emulsifier system. Thanks to reactive silicon-hydrogen groups, it can crosslink and form firm hydrophobic film on canvas fibers after finishing. Product Overview

30% Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Emulsion is reactive water-based silicone water repellent specially developed for canvas and outdoor textile finishing. The base material is polymethylhydrosiloxane. Different from ordinary non-reactive silicone emulsion, active Si-H bonds enable crosslinking reaction on fabric surface with catalyst. It forms thin, flexible hydrophobic coating, achieving durable waterproof effect. The water-based formula avoids solvent hazards and meets environmental requirements for textile production.

Usage Guidance

Can be diluted with clean water according to fabric density. Suitable for padding or dipping process. Appropriate catalyst is recommended to promote crosslinking reaction. Dry and bake after treatment to optimize waterproof effect. Conduct small sample test before mass production. Do not mix with strong anionic chemicals.

Storage & Package

Seal drums tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Prevent freezing and prolonged high temperature exposure. Standard package: 200kg plastic drum. Shelf life: 6 months under proper storage. Stir evenly if slight stratification occurs before use.
