This molybdenum disulfide dry‑film lubricant spray is an aerosol‑type dry solid lubricating product. Finely milled molybdenum disulfide particles are dispersed in volatile solvent system. After spraying onto metal substrates, the solvent evaporates rapidly and leaves a uniform dry solid lubricant film. The coating provides high‑temperature anti‑seize protection and dry boundary lubrication for metal parts, eliminating sticky oil‑based residue under elevated‑temperature working conditions.

During spraying operation, the suspension is evenly atomized onto thoroughly cleaned metal surfaces. The solvent evaporates quickly at ambient temperature, depositing a thin, matte dry lubricating film composed of layered molybdenum disulfide crystals. No viscous oily layer remains after full solvent volatilization.
The formed dry solid film maintains stable lubricating properties at elevated working temperatures where conventional grease or liquid lubricants will soften, drip, carbonize or burn away. It delivers reliable anti‑seize performance for threaded studs, hinge pins, sliding mating surfaces and spline connections subjected to thermal cycling. The lamellar crystal structure of molybdenum disulfide slides under shear force to lower coefficient of friction, reducing galling, cold‑welding and metal seizure of contacting metal components.
Since the final coating is completely dry, it will not attract dust, metal shavings or particulate contaminants, which is a distinct advantage compared to wet grease‑type lubricants. It is suitable for pre‑assembly treatment of high‑temperature fasteners, sliding mould components, furnace hardware, turbine‑related fittings and mechanical parts where oil contamination must be avoided.
