OH Polymer 107 is hydroxyl‑terminated polydimethylsiloxane, the fundamental base polymer for RTV silicone rubber. It reacts with silane cross‑linker under organotin catalyst through condensation reaction and forms elastic silicone rubber under ambient temperature. Multiple viscosity grades are offered to meet different process requirements. Cured RTV silicone rubber shows excellent weather resistance, low‑temperature flexibility and reliable dielectric performance, widely applied in sealants, ad
OH Polymer 107 Raw Material CAS 70131‑67‑8 is linear polydimethylsiloxane with hydroxyl groups at both ends of molecular chain. The terminal hydroxyl groups provide good reactivity for room‑temperature condensation cross‑linking. When compounded with reinforcing fillers, cross‑linking agents and catalyst, the mixture will vulcanize into high‑elastic silicone rubber under ambient condition. A full series of viscosity specifications support formula design of diversified two‑component RTV silicone rubber for multiple industrial application scenarios.
‑ Base polymer for two‑component RTV silicone rubber ‑ Raw material for silicone sealant and adhesive production ‑ Formulation of electronic potting and encapsulation silicone ‑ Manufacturing of industrial mold‑making silicone rubber ‑ Research and production of custom condensation‑cure silicone elastomer
All batching, feeding and mixing operations shall be performed in low‑humidity environment. Mix OH Polymer 107, reinforcing filler, cross‑linking agent and catalyst strictly in accordance with production formula. Prevent moisture from entering the mixing system, otherwise bubbles, surface tackiness and incomplete curing will occur. Adjust filler addition amount to modify hardness, viscosity and mechanical performances of finished silicone products.
Store in cool, dry and airtight warehouse. Keep away from humid air and water vapor to avoid premature cross‑linking. Standard iron drum packaging. Seal the drum tightly immediately after taking partial materials. Container opening and material handling should be operated under dry conditions.
