PE‑Carnauba Blend Micronized Wax is a fine micron composite wax blending polyethylene and natural carnauba wax, developed as direct drop‑in replacement for CERETAN MCX 6610. The synergistic combination of synthetic polyolefin and natural carnauba wax achieves outstanding surface‑slip performance without obvious loss of film gloss. It effectively reduces coefficient of friction for cured ink and coating layers, improves scratch resistance during metal can stamping, stacking and transportation. Th
PE‑Carnauba Blend Micronized Wax (CAS 9002‑88‑4, CERETAN MCX 6610 Equivalent) is a specially compounded micron‑size blended wax based on polyethylene and natural carnauba wax. Carefully controlled blending ratio balances slip enhancement and high‑gloss retention, avoiding excessive matting which is commonly seen with single‑grade polyolefin wax. After being dispersed into can coatings or printing inks, fine wax particles gently migrate towards the coating surface during curing. The formed thin wax layer lowers surface friction, protecting metal‑packaging surfaces from scratches and scuffing during can stamping, stacking and logistics handling. This product serves as a cost‑effective imported substitute for CERETAN MCX 6610 for metal coating and packaging ink manufacturers.
Typical dosage ranges from 0.2‑2.0 % based on total formulation weight. Add the micronized wax during high‑speed dispersion or sand‑grinding processing. Adequate grinding and dispersion are required to prevent wax agglomerates and surface specks. Pre‑production laboratory trials are strongly recommended to verify gloss level, slip coefficient and coating processing performance.
Store sealed sacks in dry, well‑ventilated warehouse. Keep away from direct sunlight and high‑temperature heat sources. Avoid moisture absorption and powder caking. Reseal sacks promptly after partial discharging.
This PE‑Carnauba blend micronized wax is intended for industrial coating and printing‑ink manufacturing only. It is not designed for direct food contact. Avoid inhalation of fine powder during handling. Wear dust‑proof mask, protective gloves and safety goggles. Please refer to the corresponding MSDS for complete safety operation instructions.
