PE‑Polyamide Blend Micronized Wax (CAS 9002‑88‑4, Lanco 1400 SF Equivalent) is a specially formulated blended micronized wax powder combining polyethylene and polyamide components. The synergistic composition integrates the excellent slip property of polyethylene and the high‑temperature resistance of polyamide. When incorporated into coating and ink formulations, fine wax particles migrate gradually to the surface after film formation, forming a uniform lubricating protective layer. This surface layer effectively reduces surface friction, improves scratch‑resistance and abrasion‑resistance, and helps to mitigate blocking issues on stacked printed and coated parts. It acts as a cost‑effective imported substitute for Lanco 1400 SF for coating and printing ink manufacturers.
Typical dosage ranges from 0.4‑3.0 % based on total formulation weight. Add the micronized wax powder during high‑speed dispersion or sand‑grinding stage. Sufficient grinding is essential to achieve homogeneous dispersion. Pre‑formulation trials are strongly recommended before mass‑scale production to verify slip degree, gloss and abrasion‑resistant results.
Store sealed sacks in dry and well‑ventilated warehouse. Keep away from direct sunlight and high‑temperature heat sources. Prevent moisture absorption. Anti‑static protection is required during powder handling. Reseal sacks immediately after partial discharging.
