Chem Identity

JSYA-AGG silver glass antimicrobial powder is an inorganic silver ion antibacterial material. Silver ions are fixed in the soluble glass network structure. Different from zeolite or zirconium phosphate carrier antimicrobials, silver glass carrier achieves controllable silver ion release rate. The white fine powder has good chemical stability, excellent weathering performance and high heat resistance. When blended into substrates, it slowly releases silver ions to inhibit the reproduction of E.coli, S.aureus and fungi on product surface and realize durable antibacterial function.

JSYA-AGG industrial grade silver-loaded glass powder is multi-purpose antimicrobial additive designed for plastics, coatings and ceramics. For plastics: It can be mixed with PP, PE, ABS, PVC and other resins via extrusion or injection molding to produce antibacterial plastic parts for home appliances, daily consumer goods and sanitary products. For coatings: Compatible with water-based and solvent-based coating systems. Added into interior & exterior functional coatings to form antibacterial coating layer, widely used on wall and metal surface. For ceramics: Incorporated during ceramic raw material mixing and sintering process. It endows ceramic tiles, sanitary ceramics with permanent antibacterial property, suitable for bathroom and kitchen ceramic products. The addition dosage can be adjusted according to target antibacterial standards and processing requirements.
