Spherical HDPE Micronized Wax is fine spherical high‑density polyethylene micronized powder developed as direct replacement for Luwax AF29. Its unique spherical particle morphology ensures good free‑flowing property and easy dispersion within resin systems. This wax powder delivers remarkable anti‑scratch, abrasion‑resistance and anti‑blocking performance. It is widely applied in industrial coatings, printing inks and plastic masterbatch. It shows favorable compatibility with most thermoplastic
Spherical HDPE Micronized Wax (CAS 9002‑88‑4, Luwax AF29 Equivalent) is synthetic high‑density polyethylene processed into regular spherical fine micronized powder. Compared to irregular ground wax powder, spherical particles feature superior flowability, lower tendency for agglomeration and smoother dispersion behavior during mixing. When incorporated into coatings, inks or plastic masterbatch, the wax migrates gently toward the surface to construct a durable lubricating layer. It effectively reduces surface friction, improves scratch resistance and prevents blocking of stacked finished parts. This grade serves as a cost‑effective alternative to imported Luwax AF29 for paint, ink and plastic compounding industries.
Typical dosage ranges from 0.3‑3.5 % based on total formulation weight. For liquid coating and ink systems, add during grinding or high‑speed dispersion stage. For plastic masterbatch, feed together with resin pellets during extrusion compounding. Dispersion pre‑test in your target formulation is strongly recommended before mass production to verify surface effect and particle distribution.
Store in tightly closed sacks inside dry and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from direct sunlight and high‑temperature heat sources. Avoid moisture absorption. Prevent static dust accumulation during feeding and handling operations. Seal sacks immediately after partial use.
This micronized wax powder is intended only for industrial formulation and compounding, not for food and cosmetic applications. Avoid breathing fine dust; wear dust‑proof mask, safety goggles and protective gloves during operation. Please refer to the corresponding MSDS for detailed safety guidelines.
