Water-Based Silicone-Fluoropolymer Release Agent, Continuous Multi-Release Low Mold Contamination for Rubber

This water‑based silicone‑fluoropolymer release agent is a stable aqueous dispersion compounded with modified silicone emulsion and fine fluoropolymer particles, matched with specialized dispersants, wetting additives and deionized‑water carrier. Free from harsh organic solvents, it exhibits low‑odor and environmentally friendly characteristics. When diluted and sprayed onto pre‑heated mold surfaces, water evaporates quickly to form a blended silicone‑fluoropolymer separating coating. The compos

Product Detail Page: This release agent is produced through high‑speed homogenizing dispersion of modified silicone emulsion and fine fluoropolymer powder inside deionized‑water. Selected dispersing agents suppress particle sedimentation and prevent phase separation during storage. Fine filtration is carried out to eliminate oversized agglomerated particles. Each production batch is inspected for dispersion stability, drying film performance and practical demolding results to maintain consistent quality for continuous rubber workshop manufacturing.

In large‑scale rubber vulcanization production, molds run through repeated thermal cycling under high temperature and pressure. Many conventional temporary release agents only sustain one molding cycle, requiring frequent pause for re‑spraying, which restricts production output. Some semi‑permanent release products tend to form heavy carbonized residues after prolonged thermal exposure. Gradual mold contamination causes surface blemishes, specks and indentations on finished rubber parts, forcing frequent mold disassembly and cleaning, raising overall production downtime and operating costs.

After proper dilution with deionized water, the dispersion is uniformly sprayed onto thoroughly cleaned and pre‑heated mold cavities. Rapid water evaporation under mold operating temperature enables the silicone‑fluoropolymer blend to fuse into a continuous, tough separating barrier. The silicone fraction provides excellent lubricating slip for demolding, while fluoropolymer fraction enhances thermal resistance and suppresses the formation of carbon‑rich deposits on the mold surface. The composite release coating withstands repeated hot vulcanization conditions. It supports continuous multi‑release cycles for compression‑molded and transfer‑molded rubber workpieces and effectively reduces mold fouling tendency during long‑term mass production.

Even though the formula is optimized for low mold contamination, the release film will still undergo gradual mechanical abrasion and thermal degradation after numerous vulcanization cycles. Production operators should monitor demolding effect and rubber surface quality regularly. When initial sticking signs or surface haze on rubber parts appear, the mold needs thorough cleaning and fresh coating of release agent. Excessive spraying dosage must be avoided; over‑deposited solids will form hard baked residues inside mold cavities in the long run. In addition, silicone components within this formulation may cause repellent effect if finished rubber parts require subsequent painting or adhesive bonding, so appropriate surface cleaning is required for post‑finishing workflows.

For on‑site workshop operation, fully eliminate old baked‑on residues from mold cavities. Dilute the concentrated dispersion according to the recommended ratio. Confirm correct mold pre‑heating temperature before spraying. Apply a thin and uniform coating, and determine re‑spraying intervals based on actual vulcanization cycle conditions.

Protect the concentrated dispersion from foreign debris contamination, freezing and prolonged high‑temperature storage. Freezing will destroy the dispersion stability and induce irreversible particle sedimentation.

Major application fields: multi‑cycle mold release for compression‑molded rubber goods; releasing auxiliary for transfer‑molded vulcanized rubber components; long‑run continuous vulcanization production where low mold contamination is required.

Store the product in tightly‑sealed original plastic drums within 5‑30℃. Prevent frost and direct sunlight. Gentle stirring is required before using long‑term stored batches.
