Zirconium Octoate 12% Zr CAS 22464‑99‑9 is zirconium 2‑ethylhexanoate lead‑free auxiliary through drier targeting high film‑build industrial alkyd systems. It cannot work as single surface drier, and must cooperate with cobalt‑manganese composite driers. For thick‑film alkyd coatings, it accelerates inner‑film cross‑linking reaction to avoid incomplete curing inside heavy coating layers. It improves surface hardness, gloss and water resistance, replaces traditional harmful lead‑based driers. It dissolves well in hydrocarbon solvents and various alkyd resins, and maintains stable catalytic property during storage and industrial batch manufacturing.
