Strict raw‑material filtration eliminates fine dark impurities which may cause light scattering. The grease maintains uniform transparent appearance within a wide working‑temperature range and resists thermal‑induced yellowing during long‑term service. The base silicone fluid offers good hydrophobic performance and stable rheological behaviour.
When applied on optical O‑ring sealing grooves, lens barrel thread interfaces, sliding guide surfaces and rotating adjustment parts of precision optical mechanisms, the grease forms a smooth, transparent and adherent lubricating‑sealing film. This hydrophobic barrier blocks moisture and fine dust from penetrating into internal optical cavities. It reduces frictional resistance during lens focusing, zooming and mechanical adjustment. Since the grease remains optically clear, accidental minor contact with non‑coated optical surfaces will not produce dark opaque contamination spots that disrupt light propagation.
Under repeated mechanical adjustment movement and temperature cycling inside optical instruments, the grease exhibits excellent shear stability and suppresses oil bleeding. Anti‑oxidant additives effectively inhibit thermal ageing and slow yellowing tendency. The formulation provides favourable compatibility with optical elastomer O‑rings, engineering plastics and metal structural parts commonly used for optical equipment.

The coating thickness needs precise control. Excessive grease may slowly creep and migrate onto lens surfaces and cause optical distortion; insufficient coating cannot form a continuous hydrophobic sealing barrier, allowing dust and humid air to invade the internal optical cavity.
Do not mix this clear transparent silicone grease with filled dark‑coloured greases, hydrocarbon‑based greases or fluorosilicone greases. Store in tightly sealed original containers inside cool, dry indoor warehouse, avoid intense direct sunlight.
