Unlike coating‑grade organo bentonite, this grease‑specific grade requires matched polar activator together with high‑temperature intensive shearing processing to achieve complete exfoliation of silicate platelets. Exfoliated clay platelets construct stable three‑dimensional colloidal gel network inside mineral or synthetic base‑oil medium.
