High Melting Point Microcrystalline Wax is high‑performance refined petroleum microcrystalline wax developed as direct drop‑in replacement for Paramelt HMP. Featuring fine compact crystal structure, low‑oil content and superior thermal stability, this wax can act both as binder component and surface modifier. In printing‑ink and industrial coating systems, it improves anti‑blocking, slip and scratch‑resistance of cured films. When used within hot‑melt binder formulations, it helps adjust melt vi
High Melting Point Microcrystalline Wax (CAS 63231‑60‑7, Paramelt HMP Equivalent) is highly refined petroleum‑derived microcrystalline wax with dense fine crystalline structure. Strict refining procedures reduce residual oil, delivering outstanding resistance against sweating at elevated storage temperatures. In industrial coatings and printing inks, wax particles migrate toward the surface during film formation, forming a thin protective wax layer which upgrades slip, scratch‑resistance and anti‑blocking performance. For hot‑melt binder systems, the wax participates in building the binder matrix, regulating melt viscosity and boosting cohesive bonding strength. This product provides a cost‑effective imported substitute for Paramelt HMP for coating, ink and hot‑melt compound manufacturers.
Typical dosage is 1.2‑3.8 % for coating and printing‑ink formulations based on total weight. For hot‑melt binder systems, recommended loading ranges from 7‑20 %. Melt and blend together with resins and tackifiers under controlled high‑temperature conditions. It is strongly recommended to complete laboratory formulation trials before mass‑scale production to verify melting behaviour, storage stability and final product performance.
Store sealed sacks in dry and well‑ventilated warehouse. Keep away from direct sunlight and high‑temperature heat sources. Prevent partial melting and caking. Reseal sacks promptly after partial discharging.
This high melting point microcrystalline wax is for industrial manufacturing only, not intended for food or cosmetic applications. Wear protective gloves and safety goggles during material handling. Please refer to the corresponding MSDS for complete safety operation instructions.
