Product Introduction
High Scattering PS Light Diffusion Agent is extrusion-grade professional optical raw material developed for PS optical products. Composed of spherical polystyrene microspheres, it delivers powerful light scattering performance. Dense light scattering interfaces can be formed inside PS resin matrix to fully homogenize concentrated light sources. It effectively removes bright spots, glare and uneven light distribution, realizing balanced light transmittance and stable haze for extruded PS light diffusion sheets and optical components.
Important reminder: The refractive index of PS microspheres is close to PMMA resin. Ideal light diffusion effect cannot be achieved when mixed with PMMA substrate. This product is exclusively suitable for PS resin system. It has narrow particle size distribution and excellent high-temperature resistance to match continuous extrusion production. It significantly lowers surface defects including microsphere agglomeration, fish eyes and streaks on finished optical panels.
Core Advantages
Superior high light scattering property. Stable haze index can be achieved at moderate addition amount, helping customers optimize formulation cost.
Outstanding extrusion adaptability. Great thermal stability avoids particle softening and deformation under long-time high-temperature extrusion.
Uniform spherical particle morphology. Microspheres disperse evenly in PS pellets with common mixing equipment without complicated pretreatment.
Stable optical repeatability. Consistent light diffusion performance guarantees unified quality during mass continuous extrusion production.
Application Scope
High Scattering PS Light Diffusion Agent is mainly applied to extrusion production of PS light diffusion sheets. It can also be used for PS lighting panels, flat lamp accessories, advertising light box plates and other PS transparent optical parts. Widely used in indoor panel lighting, signage lighting and display backlight industries. This product cannot be used for PMMA acrylic materials.
Usage Guidance
Adjust appropriate addition dosage according to target haze and light transmittance requirements of finished optical sheets. Mix the PS light diffusion agent evenly with PS raw pellets before feeding. Follow standard processing temperature range of PS resin. Prevent long-time high-temperature retention of mixed materials to ensure full dispersion of microspheres and stable optical performance.
Packaging and Storage
The product adopts sealed moisture-proof packaging to avoid microsphere agglomeration caused by moisture absorption. Store in dry, cool and ventilated indoor environment, away from direct sunlight, high temperature and humid atmosphere. Keep the package tightly sealed after each opening. Stable optical and physical properties can be maintained within shelf life under proper storage conditions.
