High-Temperature Silicone Release Oil CAS 63148-58-3, Phenyl-Modified for Rubber Plastic & Low-Melting Metal Thermoforming

This phenyl‑modified silicone release oil is based on phenyl methyl silicone fluid with CAS 63148‑58‑3. Compared with conventional dimethyl silicone oil, the introduction of phenyl groups improves thermal oxidation resistance at high temperatures. The product is suitable for hot vulcanized rubber, high‑temperature thermoset plastic molding and thermoforming of low‑melting‑point metal alloys. After brushing or spraying on clean mold surfaces, it forms a heat‑resistant lubricating separation film.

Product Detail Page: This phenyl‑modified silicone release oil is synthesized through controlled polymerization of organosilicon monomers. Adjusted phenyl content in the molecular chain delivers outstanding thermal stability. The finished oil features low volatility, good lubricity and moderate surface tension. Strict filtration removes mechanical impurities during production, ensuring consistent batch‑to‑batch quality.

Many industrial molding operations run at elevated temperatures. Standard dimethyl‑silicone‑based release agents tend to undergo thermal decomposition under prolonged high‑heat conditions. Decomposition generates carbon deposits that stick to mold surfaces. Gradual carbon fouling causes surface defects on rubber and plastic parts, and also creates sticking issues for low‑melting‑point metal alloy during thermoforming. Frequent shutdown for mold cleaning cuts overall production capacity and raises manufacturing costs.

When applied thinly onto thoroughly cleaned mold surfaces before production, this phenyl‑modified silicone release oil spreads uniformly over the metallic cavity. Under sustained high‑temperature processing conditions, the separating film retains its lubricating and anti‑adhesive properties without rapid thermal decomposition. It prevents vulcanized rubber, hot‑set plastic melts and softened low‑melting‑point metal alloy from welding onto mold surfaces. The product fits compression molding and transfer molding of high‑heat vulcanized rubber, thermoset plastic hot forming, as well as thermoforming for zinc‑based and tin‑based low‑melting metal alloys.

Despite excellent high‑temperature resistance, excessive coating quantity should be avoided. Over‑application may result in partial thermal cracking and carbon deposition inside the mold after repeated heating cycles. Users need to establish proper re‑application intervals according to actual mold temperature and cycle numbers. Residual silicone on finished parts may interfere with subsequent painting or bonding; corresponding surface cleaning shall be arranged if post‑finishing processes are required.

For on‑site operation, clean mold cavities to eliminate old carbon deposits and residual contaminants. Apply a thin, uniform layer of release oil by wiping, brushing or spraying. Test demolding performance at the beginning of production and adjust re‑coating frequency.

Avoid foreign particle contamination, prolonged over‑heating storage and direct sunlight exposure. Long‑term high‑temperature storage may gradually degrade the phenyl‑modified silicone molecular structure.

Major application fields: high‑temperature mold release for hot‑vulcanized rubber components; demolding aid for thermoset plastic hot molding; releasing lubricant for low‑melting‑point metal alloy thermoforming processes.

Store the product in tightly‑sealed original steel or plastic drums within 10‑35℃. Keep away from open flame and strong heat sources. Slight agitation is suggested before use for long‑term stored batches.
