This water‑based silicone release agent consists of modified silicone emulsion dispersed in deionized water, matched with selected emulsifiers and surface‑wetting additives. Solvent‑free and low‑odor, it is specially formulated for PU shoe‑sole production and automotive polyurethane component molding. After spraying onto pre‑heated mold surfaces, it generates a thin uniform separating layer. It provides stable demolding performance for repeated molding cycles, reduces mold fouling, and leaves on
Product Detail Page: The product is manufactured by high‑pressure emulsification of modified silicone fluid inside deionized‑water system. Carefully selected non‑ionic emulsifiers guarantee good emulsion stability during storage and dilution. No strong organic solvents are incorporated within the formula. Strict filtration is performed to remove coarse colloidal particles before product packaging.
Polyurethane molding for shoe soles and automotive interior PU components faces prominent technical challenges. Conventional solvent‑borne silicone release agents often deposit thick silicone residues on the PU surface after demolding. Heavy silicone contamination severely weakens adhesive strength and causes bonding failure during subsequent shoe assembly or automotive part lamination. Many low‑residue release products suffer short mold service life, requiring frequent re‑spraying which lowers production output.
When properly diluted and sprayed onto cleaned, pre‑heated mold cavities, this water‑based silicone emulsion quickly loses water and deposits a thin modified‑silicone separating film. The formed barrier prevents liquid PU raw material from adhering to metal mold during curing. It delivers consistent demolding effect over multiple consecutive molding cycles. Compared with standard PDMS release agents, the modified silicone structure significantly reduces migration onto the finished polyurethane surface. Molded PU shoe soles and automotive polyurethane workpieces can proceed directly to bonding operations without complicated deep cleaning.
Even though post‑bonding performance has been improved, excessive spraying dosage should still be avoided. Over‑application may gradually build‑up silicone deposits inside mold cavities, which will negatively affect workpiece surface quality in long‑run production. Regular mold cleaning is recommended according to actual production cycle counts.
For workshop operation, dilute the concentrated emulsion with clean deionized water to the recommended working concentration. Make sure mold surface is clean and appropriately pre‑heated before spraying. Apply thin and even coating. Observe demolding condition on‑site and adjust re‑spraying interval.
Prevent foreign contamination, prolonged freezing and long‑term high‑temperature storage. Freezing will break silicone emulsion and cause irreversible phase separation.
Major application fields: mold release for injection and casting‑molded PU shoe soles; demolding for automotive polyurethane foam and rigid PU components; releasing aid for PU parts requiring subsequent adhesive bonding.
Store the product in tightly‑sealed original plastic drums within 5‑30℃. Protect against frost and direct sunlight. Gentle stirring is required before use for stored concentrated emulsion batches
