Internal Silicone Release Agent Masterbatch, Porous Carrier Pre-Dispersed for Injection Molding & BOPP Film

Internal Silicone Release Agent Masterbatch is pellet‑form functional masterbatch manufactured by impregnating high‑molecular‑weight silicone fluid into special porous thermoplastic carrier via pre‑dispersion technology. Unlike conventional simple melt‑extruded silicone masterbatch, the porous carrier structure enables homogeneous fixation of silicone ingredient, effectively avoiding silicone agglomeration. This masterbatch delivers both internal lubricating and internal mold‑release effects for

Product Detail Page: This silicone release masterbatch is produced by vacuum impregnation of high‑viscosity polysiloxane onto porous granular carrier substrate, followed by low‑temperature homogenization and screening. Each production batch is inspected for silicone loading content, pellet size distribution, thermal stability, slip coefficient, release performance and dispersion uniformity, to guarantee consistent processing behavior for injection molding and BOPP film extrusion.

Plastic processors face typical technical difficulties when using liquid silicone additives. Direct feeding of liquid silicone into extruder tends to cause poor dispersion, silicone aggregation, fish‑eyes and surface smearing on final products. Conventional silicone masterbatches prepared by twin‑screw melt extrusion may trigger partial silicone degradation under high shear and high temperature. In injection‑molding workshops, molten thermoplastic resin is prone to sticking on mold cavities; frequent mold cleaning reduces machine uptime. During BOPP film manufacturing, after film cooling and rolling, adjacent film layers easily generate blocking defects, which brings unwinding difficulties in subsequent converting and printing procedures. Improper silicone addition also causes migration‑related problems such as poor printing and lamination performance on BOPP film surfaces.

When this porous‑carrier silicone masterbatch is metered and blended with virgin polymer pellets at recommended addition ratio, silicone component gradually releases from the porous carrier during melt plasticization. The released silicone provides internal lubrication inside the polymer melt, decreasing intermolecular friction and lowering overall extrusion and injection processing torque. For injection‑molding applications, a thin slippery silicone interfacial layer is formed between hot polymer melt and metallic mold surface. This interfacial layer reduces resin‑mold adhesion, facilitates smooth demolding of complex molded components and suppresses mold fouling during long‑run production. For BOPP film extrusion, slow and uniform silicone migration toward film surface delivers stable slip effect and anti‑blocking performance, alleviating film‑to‑film sticking after winding. Controlled release characteristic prevents excessive silicone blooming, so that BOPP film maintains acceptable surface condition for printing and lamination operations.

Precise addition dosage is critical in formulation design. Under‑dosage leads to insufficient lubricating, releasing and anti‑blocking effect; mold sticking still occurs for injection‑molded parts, and BOPP film suffers severe blocking after winding. Excessive dosage will cause heavy silicone migration, resulting in slippery contaminated surfaces, weakening printing and adhesive bonding capacity of finished plastic articles and BOPP films. Preliminary processing trials on injection molding machine and BOPP film line are strongly suggested before formal mass‑scale production. This masterbatch can be used together with antioxidants, anti‑static agents and mineral fillers for polyolefin and related thermoplastic systems.

For compounding operations, the silicone masterbatch pellets are physically blended with base resin pellets before feeding into injection molding machine or BOPP film extruder.

Store the pellet product in sealed packaging, keep away from dust and moisture. Avoid prolonged storage under high‑temperature conditions which may trigger premature silicone bleeding out of porous carrier.

Major application fields: internal mold‑release functional masterbatch for polyolefin injection‑molded components; slip and anti‑blocking processing additive for BOPP packaging film extrusion; easy‑to‑handle solid silicone processing auxiliary for thermoplastic converting.

Store the product in tightly‑sealed original bags within 15‑30℃, maintain dry storage and avoid direct sunlight.
