Product Detail Page: Molybdenum complex powder is synthesized via controlled coordination reaction of molybdenum source with selected organic ligand materials. Crude product goes through filtration, washing, drying and fine milling. Each production batch is tested for molybdenum content, particle‑size distribution, thermal decomposition temperature, extreme‑pressure friction performance and mold‑release behavior to guarantee consistent processing results for engineering plastic and rubber compounding.

Wear‑resistant modified polymer components face tough service challenges. When engineering‑plastic sliding parts operate under heavy dynamic load, high friction generates heat and accelerates abrasive wear, shortening service life of finished molded components. Many conventional solid lubricants have poor compatibility with polymer matrix. They are prone to agglomeration during compounding, resulting in surface speckles and deterioration of mechanical strength. In technical rubber production, high‑viscosity rubber stock increases mixing torque. During hot vulcanization, rubber compound tends to adhere to mold cavities. Continuous molding creates stubborn mold deposits, which require frequent mold cleaning and reduce production efficiency. Common lubricating waxes cannot deliver durable extreme‑pressure anti‑wear performance under heavy dynamic working loads of finished rubber‑plastic components.

When the molybdenum complex powder is homogeneously incorporated into engineering‑plastic or rubber formulations at recommended dosage during compounding, fine particles disperse evenly throughout the polymer matrix. During melt processing of engineering plastics, it delivers moderate internal lubrication, reduces melt viscosity and lowers extrusion and injection torque. A minor fraction migrates to the melt‑metal interface to form a thin lubricating boundary layer, which provides auxiliary mold‑release performance and alleviates mold fouling during injection molding. Once the finished plastic sliding component is subjected to mechanical friction and pressure in service, the molybdenum complex forms a continuous anti‑wear transfer‑film on the friction contact surface. This transfer‑film effectively decreases friction coefficient, resists scratch formation and improves extreme‑pressure wear‑resistance of moving plastic parts. Within rubber systems, this additive improves flow characteristics of uncured rubber stock during kneading; during high‑temperature vulcanization, it assists demolding of molded rubber components and upgrades abrasion resistance of final vulcanized rubber goods.

Accurate dosage control is critical for formulation. Under‑dosage results in insufficient extreme‑pressure anti‑friction effect, weak mold‑release performance, and rapid wear of finished rubber‑plastic moving components. Excessive loading will negatively impact tensile strength, impact performance and compression‑set resistance of polymer products, and may induce surface deposits on molds during long‑run production. Laboratory compounding and component friction testing are strongly recommended before mass production. This molybdenum complex can be used synergistically with antioxidants, heat stabilizers, reinforcing mineral fillers, rubber vulcanizing agents and accelerators.

For compounding operations, the fine molybdenum complex powder is added during high‑speed premixing for engineering‑plastic modification, or charged on internal kneader and open mill for rubber mixing, prior to extrusion pelletizing, injection molding or vulcanization.

Protect powder against moisture absorption and foreign particulate contamination. Damp storage may cause slight caking of fine powder.

Major application fields: extreme‑pressure anti‑wear functional additive for sliding‑grade modified PA, POM, PBT engineering plastics; anti‑friction and auxiliary release processing auxiliary for wear‑resistant technical rubber components; solid lubricant additive for high‑load polymer moving parts.

Store the product in tightly‑sealed original bags within 15‑30℃, maintain dry storage and avoid direct sunlight.
