JSYAPG‑PX30 colloidal silica slurry is water‑based amorphous silica sol with 30 wt% SiO₂ solid content. Controlled synthesis yields fine silica nanoparticles delivering high specific surface area and abundant surface silanol groups. It serves as inorganic binder and functional raw material for catalyst production, refractory materials and ceramic systems. Product Detail Page: JSYAPG‑PX30 colloidal silica slurry is made of fine amorphous silica nanoparticles homogeneously dispersed inside deionized water. Optimized particle nucleation and growth process generates fine‑sized silica particles, which contribute to high specific surface area and large quantity of reactive silanol groups on particle surfaces. Suitable electrostatic stabilization restrains particle agglomeration and sedimentation under recommended storage conditions. Narrow particle‑size distribution guarantees consistent reactive activity from batch to batch.
For catalyst manufacturing, abundant surface silanol groups provide sufficient anchoring sites for metal and metal‑oxide active precursors. The high‑surface‑area silica framework enables uniform dispersion of catalytic active components. It helps improve catalytic activity, enhance thermal resistance and extend service lifespan of finished catalysts.
In refractory material applications, this silica sol acts as a liquid inorganic binder. During drying and sintering procedures, silica nanoparticles gradually condense and form continuous rigid silica networks. It strengthens green body strength before firing, reduces firing shrinkage, and improves high‑temperature structural stability of refractory castables and shaped refractory parts.
Within advanced ceramic production, the nano‑sized silica particles promote sintering at relatively lower temperature. It facilitates densification of ceramic green bodies, refines grain structure, and improves final mechanical performance of sintered ceramic products.
The original slurry can be diluted with deionized water to obtain lower solid concentration as required by different production formulas. Exposure to strong acid, sustained high‑temperature heating and freezing should be strictly avoided. These extreme conditions will break colloidal balance and trigger irreversible gelation, flocculation and silica precipitation. Gelled material cannot be re‑dissolved for processing.
Major application fields include heterogeneous catalyst carrier preparation, refractory castable and pre‑formed refractory binder, fine ceramic sintering aid, inorganic coating and high‑temperature resistant composite material formulations.
Store in tightly‑sealed original plastic containers within 5‑35℃ storage temperature range. Prevent direct sunlight and freezing. Standard industrial packaging includes plastic drums and IBC totes for bulk liquid delivery. Gentle periodic circulation is suggested for long‑term inventory to slow down bottom sediment accumulation.
