Low MW PE Homopolymer Wax is non‑oxidized low‑molecular‑weight polyethylene homopolymer wax developed as direct drop‑in replacement for A‑C 6A. It delivers outstanding external lubricating effect for transparent PVC compounds. This wax reduces adhesion between molten PVC and metal processing surfaces without impairing the transparency of finished PVC articles. It lowers extrusion torque, suppresses frictional heat, and improves mold‑release performance during calendaring, extrusion and injection
Low MW PE Homopolymer Wax (CAS 9002‑88‑4, A‑C 6A Equivalent) is synthetic non‑polar low‑molecular‑weight polyethylene homopolymer wax. Unlike oxidized wax grades, this unmodified homopolymer wax minimizes adverse influence on resin transparency. When incorporated into transparent PVC formulations, it forms a thin lubricating layer at the interface between molten polymer and equipment metal surfaces. It effectively decreases melt sticking, facilitates mold release and lowers processing friction and heat build‑up. It helps to avoid haze and cloudiness issues which often appear in transparent PVC products caused by improper lubricant selection. It serves as a cost‑effective imported substitute for A‑C 6A for transparent PVC compound manufacturers.
Typical dosage ranges from 0.1‑1.2 % based on total PVC formulation weight. Add this wax during the high‑speed hot‑mixing stage together with PVC resin, stabilizers and other additives. Over‑dosage may result in surface blooming and reduced transparency. It is strongly recommended to perform lab compounding trials to optimize addition amount before mass‑scale production.
Store sealed sacks in dry, well‑ventilated warehouse. Keep away from direct sunlight and high‑temperature heat sources. Prevent moisture contamination. Reseal sacks immediately after partial discharging.
This low MW PE homopolymer wax is for industrial PVC compounding only, not for food or cosmetic applications. Wear protective gloves and safety goggles during material handling. Please refer to the corresponding MSDS for complete safety operation instructions.
