This multi‑purpose transparent solvent‑based silicone release agent uses high‑purity silicone fluid dissolved in fast‑evaporating transparent hydrocarbon solvent with leveling additives. The finished liquid is fully transparent without suspended sediments. After spraying or wiping onto cleaned mold surfaces, the solvent evaporates rapidly and deposits a thin uniform transparent silicone barrier layer. It is suitable for vulcanized rubber molding and fiber‑reinforced composite processing. The rel
Product Detail Page: This transparent silicone release agent is produced by dissolving refined silicone fluid and surface leveling additives in low‑odor volatile solvent inside closed blending vessels. Filtration is performed to eliminate tiny insoluble particles which could create visible spots on molded surfaces. Every production batch is inspected for transparency, silicone concentration and wetting spreading property to guarantee stable performance for continuous workshop usage.
Rubber vulcanization and composite molding require high‑quality surface finish on finished components. Many conventional release agents contain fine mineral particles. These solid particles are embedded into molded rubber or composite surfaces and generate minor blemishes, speckles and uneven surface texture. Such defects increase rejection rates of visible‑surface parts. It is also challenging for some release formulations to spread evenly over curved mold surfaces, resulting in inconsistent release action and local sticking during demolding.
When applied on thoroughly cleaned mold tooling, the volatile solvent evaporates quickly at ambient temperature. A thin, transparent silicone non‑stick film is formed over flat as well as curved mold areas. The separating layer prevents hot rubber compound and uncured composite resin matrix from adhering to metal or composite molds during curing and vulcanization. It facilitates clean demolding and delivers a consistently smooth surface on finished rubber and composite parts. This product works well for compression molding of solid rubber, rubber sheet production, hand‑lay‑up FRP and resin composite molding processes.
Even with transparent formulation, silicone migration risk still exists. Residual silicone traces on molded workpieces may interfere with subsequent painting, printing and adhesive bonding. If post‑finishing operations are scheduled, effective surface cleaning and degreasing is necessary. The silicone film will gradually wear away after repeated molding cycles. Once sticking tendency appears, stop production for mold cleaning and re‑coating. Over‑application should be strictly avoided, otherwise accumulated silicone deposits will cause oily stains on product surfaces.
For workshop operation, fully remove old release residues from mold cavities prior to coating. Spray or wipe to build a thin even film. Allow adequate flash‑off time to ensure complete solvent evaporation before starting molding. Since the solvent is flammable, good ventilation is mandatory and all ignition sources must be isolated within the working zone.
Prevent foreign particle contamination, prolonged high‑temperature storage and direct sunlight. Excessive heat accelerates solvent loss, which makes the solution overly concentrated and impairs spraying effect.
Major application fields: mold release for hot‑vulcanized rubber components; demolding auxiliary for hand‑lay‑up and compression‑molded fiber‑reinforced composite parts; multi‑purpose releasing agent for rubber and composite manufacturing lines.
Store the product in tightly‑sealed original metal drums within 10‑30℃. Keep away from open flame, sparks and direct sunlight.
