JSYA-OIT OIT Antimicrobial Agent is octylisothiazolinone biocide with CAS 26530-20-1. Unlike in-can preservatives, it is a dry-film fungicide designed for cured coating and sealant surfaces. It inhibits mold, mildew and fungi growth on dry paint films and cured sealant layers after water evaporation. This product is widely added into coating and sealant formulations to prevent surface mildew contamination under humid and outdoor weather conditions.

Product Details

JSYA-OIT is light amber liquid. The active octylisothiazolinone ingredient penetrates fungal cell membrane and blocks cell metabolism, stopping mold spore germination and proliferation. It retains good fungicidal activity after film formation, resists rain leaching to a certain extent, and shows good compatibility with solvent-based and waterborne coating & sealant systems.
