Mold Anti-Carbon Release Agent High-Temp Ester-Modified Silicone, Reduce Mold Cleaning for Rubber & Plastic

Mold Anti‑Carbon Release Agent High‑Temp Ester‑Modified Silicone is a high‑performance modified silicone releasing material with ester functional groups grafted onto siloxane molecular backbone. The ester modification optimizes high‑temperature thermal stability of silicone. During repeated hot vulcanization of rubber and high‑temperature thermoset‑plastic molding, it forms a continuous thin lubricating isolating film on mold cavity surfaces. It suppresses the formation of hard carbonized foulin

Product Detail Page: This ester‑modified silicone release agent is synthesized via siloxane copolymerization and ester grafting modification. The crude product goes through vacuum devolatilization to eliminate low‑molecular‑weight fractions, followed by precision filtration. Each production batch is tested for viscosity, thermal decomposition temperature, anti‑carbon deposition performance, film‑forming property, lubricity and mold‑release efficiency prior to shipment.

High‑temperature vulcanization and molding processes for rubber and plastic create harsh thermal conditions for mold release agents. Conventional unmodified straight‑chain silicone release agents are prone to molecular thermal cleavage under prolonged heat. The cracked silicone fragments gradually aggregate inside mold cavities and build up hard black carbon fouling. Hard carbon deposits leave dark streaks, spots and blemishes on molded rubber and plastic parts. Once stubborn carbon fouling accumulates, production has to be stopped for mold disassembly, mechanical grinding and manual cleaning. Frequent cleaning reduces effective machine operating time and raises manufacturing costs. Many non‑silicone high‑temperature release materials exhibit poor spreadability on polished mold steel. They form discontinuous isolating layers, which result in local sticking, surface tearing and scratching on molded components.

When this ester‑modified silicone release agent is evenly sprayed or wiped onto pre‑heated and thoroughly cleaned mold cavity surfaces, it quickly spreads out and generates a thin continuous lubricating isolating film. This interfacial film decreases the adhesion between hot vulcanizing rubber stock or molten plastic compound and metallic mold surfaces, enabling clean demolding after each molding cycle. Benefiting from ester graft modification on siloxane backbone, the molecular thermal‑resistance is significantly enhanced. It slows silicone thermal cracking and restricts the accumulation of carbon‑rich decomposition residues on mold cavities during long continuous production runs. As a result, the interval between mold cleaning operations can be greatly prolonged, and surface quality of molded rubber and plastic components remains consistent.

Strict control of coating thickness is critical for on‑site molding work. Insufficient coating leads to discontinuous isolating film, which causes sticking, scratching and surface tearing on molded rubber or plastic parts. Over‑thick coating increases the risk of silicone migration onto workpiece surfaces, and subsequently impairs downstream painting, printing and adhesive bonding operations. Actual molding trials on customer production molds are strongly recommended before mass‑scale production. This ester‑modified silicone release agent is applicable for thermoset rubber, filled engineering plastic and thermoset plastic molding workflows.

For processing operations, completely clean the mold cavities; spray or wipe the release agent uniformly onto pre‑heated mold surfaces; allow adequate solvent evaporation before charging rubber or plastic molding stock.

Major application fields: anti‑carbon mold release treatment for technical rubber vulcanization molds; high‑temperature releasing auxiliary for filled engineering‑plastic injection and compression molding; processing aid for extending mold‑cleaning intervals in continuous rubber‑plastic manufacturing.

Store the product in tightly‑sealed original containers within 15‑28℃, keep dry warehouse storage, avoid direct sunlight and prolonged high‑temperature exposure.
