Bis(3,4-Dimethylbenzylidene) Sorbitol, known as DMDBS, CAS 135861-56-2, is a high-performance sorbitol clarifying nucleator for polypropylene. It delivers low haze performance, greatly improving the transparency and surface gloss of PP products. This additive meets food contact standards and is an ideal choice for transparent PP packaging and daily plastic articles, equivalent to Millad 3988.

Usage Suggestion
Mix DMDBS powder evenly with PP pellets directly, or produce masterbatch in advance. Operate under regular PP processing temperature. Avoid ultra-high temperature to prevent decomposition. Adjust addition dosage according to required transparency standards.
Packing & Storage
Packaging: 20kg composite bag with PE inner liner.
Storage: Store in dry, cool and ventilated place, keep sealed, avoid moisture and direct sunlight. Valid shelf life: 24 months under proper storage.
