Ethoxylated Fatty Amine Antistatic Agent Liquid CAS 61791-26-2, FDA Food-Contact Transparent for PE PP Film No Printing Impact

Ethoxylated Fatty Amine Antistatic Agent CAS 61791‑26‑2 is a non‑ionic liquid antistatic additive formulated for polyolefin film. It complies with FDA food‑contact requirements, making it suitable for food‑packaging grade PE and PP film production. After thermal processing, the additive slowly migrates to the plastic surface and builds a hydrophilic conductive layer to dissipate static charges. Compared with conventional antistatic amines, it minimizes surface blooming and maintains good film tr

Product DetailsThis ethoxylated fatty amine antistatic agent features low‑color transparent liquid appearance. It can be dosed directly during extrusion compounding or incorporated into antistatic polyolefin masterbatch. Within PE and PP resin matrix, the additive possesses controlled migration rate. After the film cools down from blown‑film or cast‑film production, active molecules travel toward the outer surface and form a thin hydrophilic molecular film. This surface layer absorbs slight ambient moisture to lower surface resistivity and suppress static accumulation, dust attraction and static‑caused film‑blocking during winding.

Controlled migration performance is the core advantage of this product. Excessive migration leads to heavy blooming, which creates smudges and interferes with printing and lamination procedures. This grade is optimized to avoid thick exudative surface deposits. Under recommended loading, finished PE and PP film retains original transparency and surface smoothness, and in‑line printing and post‑printing operations can be executed without pre‑treatment wiping.

With FDA food‑contact compliance, it is applicable for food‑contact packaging films including snack packaging, frozen‑food wrapping and food storage bags. Similar to other non‑ionic migratory antistatic agents, its antistatic efficiency relies on ambient humidity; performance drops under extremely dry environmental conditions.

The typical recommended dosage ranges from 0.5 wt%‑1.8 wt% based on total resin weight. Laboratory formulation trials must be conducted before mass production to verify film transparency, surface resistivity, winding‑blocking tendency, printing ink adhesion and food‑contact compliance validation.

Store the liquid material in tightly sealed steel or plastic drums inside cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperature which may induce color darkening. Prevent water and foreign particulate contamination. Reseal drum lids immediately after partial discharge to restrict oxidation and maintain consistent product quality.
