Product Introduction

PMMA Light Diffuser Powder is low-cost acrylic microsphere optical additive designed for PS lamp cover manufacturing. The spherical acrylic particles form effective light scattering interface inside PS resin, turning concentrated point light into soft uniform light, removing glare and bright spots on PS lamp covers, and achieving balanced light transmittance and haze.

Important reminder: The refractive index of this powder is close to PMMA resin. It cannot create effective light diffusion when added into PMMA substrate. This product is suitable for PS, PC, PET transparent plastics only, not applicable to PMMA acrylic materials. It features good dispersibility and stable heat resistance during extrusion and injection molding, without easily causing surface defects such as streaks and fish eyes. It is an economical optical raw material for mass production of PS LED lamp covers.

Application Scope

This PMMA Light Diffuser Powder is mainly used for injection molded PS lamp covers. It can also be applied to PS transparent light housing, PC optical lampshades, PET light diffusion sheets and other transparent optical plastic parts. Widely used in household LED lighting, commercial lighting and other lighting industries. Not recommended for PMMA acrylic products.

Usage Guidance

Adjust the addition ratio according to target haze and light transmittance requirements of finished products. Mix PMMA light diffuser powder evenly with plastic pellets before feeding. Follow standard processing temperature parameters of base resin. Avoid long-time high-temperature retention of mixed materials to guarantee sufficient particle dispersion and stable optical effect of finished lamp covers.

Packaging and Storage

The product adopts sealed moisture-proof packaging to prevent particle agglomeration caused by moisture absorption. Store in dry, cool and ventilated warehouse, keep away from direct sunlight and humid environment. Please seal the package tightly after each use. Stable performance can be kept within shelf life under proper storage conditions.
