PVC Liquid Lubricant Internal & External, Complex Fatty Acid Ester for Rigid PVC Processing Flow Improvement

This PVC liquid internal & external lubricant is a synthetic complex fatty acid ester developed specifically for rigid PVC formulation systems. It delivers combined internal‑lubricating and external‑lubricating properties within one liquid product. During thermal plasticization of rigid PVC, the internal lubricating fraction reduces intermolecular friction inside PVC melt. Product Detail Page: This complex fatty acid ester lubricant is manufactured through controlled esterification and blending of selected long‑chain fatty acids. Purification and filtration steps are performed to remove unreacted raw materials and solid impurities. Each production batch is tested for acid value, saponification value, viscosity and thermal stability to guarantee consistent lubricating balance for rigid‑PVC compounding.

Rigid PVC is a heat‑sensitive polymer. Without properly matched lubrication system, high shear friction during extrusion or injection molding generates excessive localized heat. Overheating causes early PVC degradation, yellow discoloration, carbon speck defects and unstable melt flow. If internal lubrication is insufficient, PVC melt exhibits high viscosity; the extruder torque rises sharply, limiting production speed. When external lubrication is inadequate, molten PVC tends to stick onto metal surfaces of screw, barrel and die, resulting in material buildup, plate‑out deposits and poor surface quality of profiles, pipes and fittings. Many single‑function lubricants require complicated formula adjustment by combining several different lubricant grades.

When incorporated into rigid‑PVC dry‑blend or compound formula at recommended dosage, this liquid complex fatty acid ester distributes uniformly within the PVC resin matrix. Its internal lubricating segment infiltrates among PVC molecular chains, lowering internal friction of the molten polymer and improving melt plasticity and flowability. The external lubricating fraction gradually migrates toward the interface between hot PVC melt and metallic processing equipment, forming a thin slippery boundary film. This boundary layer reduces metal‑to‑melt sliding friction. Consequently, extrusion torque decreases, shear‑induced overheating is restrained, and thermal decomposition risk of PVC is reduced. It helps to achieve stable continuous extrusion for rigid‑PVC pipes, profiles and injection‑molded fittings while delivering smooth, glossy product surfaces.

Appropriate dosage control is critical for this liquid lubricant. Under‑dosage leads to insufficient lubrication, high torque and thermal degradation risk. Excessive addition will cause over‑lubrication, which reduces melt strength, induces slippage inside extruder barrel, lowers output rate and may trigger plate‑out phenomenon on the die surface. Formulators should carry out lab mixing trials first and adjust addition levels according to specific equipment, processing temperature profile and final product requirements. This lubricant works synergistically with calcium‑zinc or lead‑based thermal stabilizer systems for rigid‑PVC.

For workshop compounding operation, the liquid lubricant can be added during high‑speed hot mixing of PVC dry‑blend. Good stirring is required to achieve homogeneous dispersion with resin, stabilizers and fillers before cooling‑down mixing stage.

Protect the product from foreign contamination. Prolonged storage under high ambient temperature may slowly raise acid value of fatty acid ester, impairing lubricating performance.

Major application fields: lubricating processing aid for rigid‑PVC pipe extrusion; lubricant for rigid‑PVC profile production; internal‑external lubricating auxiliary for injection‑molded rigid‑PVC fittings and technical parts.

Store the product in tightly‑sealed original drums within 10‑35℃. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources
