Product Details

JSYA-PQ is a clear to light yellow water-soluble liquid. It blends readily with pool water or circulating cooling water and does not carry a separate oxidizing active group, so it is commonly used alongside chlorine or other sanitizers in pools, and rotated with oxidizing biocides in cooling water treatment programs. The non-foaming formulation avoids unwanted foam buildup in pool recirculation and tower spray systems, and it has little influence on water pH. Dosage varies with water volume, existing algae level, water temperature and operational conditions; initial shock dosing for an algae-affected pool is higher, followed by regular maintenance dosing. In cooling systems, dosing should be coordinated with anionic scale and corrosion inhibitors to prevent cationic-anionic complexing and precipitation.
